School of Computer & Systems Sciences (SC&SS) is one of the earliest centres of education in the field of Computer Science in the country. The School is among one of the few that started MCA and M.Tech. programmes in Computer Science in the country. Recently, a new M.Tech. programme in Data Science has been introduced in the School to cater to the requirements of the changing world of technology.

Even when the field of Computer Science was in the nascent stage, this school envisioned the role of Computer Science in allied areas thus naming the school as School of Computer and Systems Sciences with a focus on both Computer Science and Allied Sciences in teaching and research. The teaching methodology ensures that the spectrum of courses covers all the major domains while encouraging critical thinking in the students. The curriculum emphasizes on fundamental concepts further leading to advance topics. We have the faculty members involved in research in almost all the major areas of Computer Science and Microsystems aimed at encouraging out of box thinking and nurturing new ideas and approaches. The research publications and projects assigned vouch for the deep rooted research strength of the school. The teaching activity of the School is further strengthened by the research focus of the school in enriching the curriculum of the programme continuously to provide students the state-  of art knowledge relevant to both industries and academics.

The success of MCA, M.Tech. and PhD programmes is evident from the large number of applicants appearing in the entrance examination across the country. The placement of students within the country and abroad further adds to its success.

As the Dean of SC&SS, it is my pleasure to invite esteemed organizations for Campus placements.
