The Occasional Paper Series, CSDE
Centre for the Study of Discrimination and Exclusion, JNU, launched the "Occasional Paper Series" from September 2016. The series provides a platform to promote research and academic discussion into various aspects of discrimination and exclusion. The series is intended to be a forum for showcasing work in progress by its own faculty members as well as academics and scholars from outside the Centre on relevant topics, rather than a venue for polished work that is ready for publication. The series is designed to provide an outlet for innovative and creative research ideas on the issues of discrimination and exclusion, enabling early dissemination for authors as well as providing a means for feedback. It is also intended to act as a vibrant forum for discussions on relevant policy frameworks pertaining to addressing the various facets of discrimination and exclusion. CSDE invites submission from experts, academics and PhD/postdoctoral scholars on topics that characterise the processes of discrimination and exclusion.
Authors should send their submissions electronically as an MS Word file to the series editor Dr. Kaustav Banerjee at kaustav@jnu.ac.in. There is no strict word limit but the article length should not exceed 12,000 words. Please include a 300 word abstract and brief bibliography along with your CV. All submission will be peer reviewed within the Centre. The accepted submissions will be published online on the CSDE website.
We are grateful to Prof. Prabhat Patnaik for his encouragement and initial financial support towards this endeavour.
