School of Computer and Systems Sciences was established in the year 1974 as one of the premier teaching centers of Computer Science discipline in the country. School offers MCA (6 Sem), M.Tech (4 Sem) and PhD programs. These programs are specially designed to provide the theoretical background along with practical experience in the field of Computer Science to meet the growing manpower requirements of the global software and hardware industry. The teaching takes inputs from Statistics, Operation Research, Algebra, Combinatory, Digital Electronics, System Software, AI, Parallel/Distributed Systems, Computer Networks and Mobile Computing, Computer Architecture, VLSI Design, Programming Languages etc.
