Advances in Life Sciences: From Genomes to Metabolism
3rd June to 28th June, 2024
Aim: The workshop is designed to expose young and curious minds to scientific realms and biological processes encouraging innovation and scientific discoveries through exploration of new ideas.
Who should attend: The workshop is open to trainees pursuing final year of under-graduation, or final year of post-graduation in any stream of Life Sciences.
Number of participants: 30
Registration Fees: There is no registration fee for this workshop.
Application Procedure: Application form duly endorsed by Head of the Department, including a brief CV and a 500-word write-up detailing your motivation for attending the workshop must be uploaded in the google form link provided below.

Workshop Sessions: This workshop will cover expert lectures along with hands-on experience in a variety of laboratory techniques in the field of Life Sciences. Each trainee will have a mentor from the School of Life Sciences for all hands-on practical sessions.

Important points:

- Selection will be done on the basis of merit. Students from National colleges/universities/institutions of all regions of the country are encouraged to apply. Due preference will be given during selection process to maintain national/regional representation to include remote areas.

- Selected students must attend the programme for the entire duration.

- No campus accommodation is available; however, outstation candidates may be considered for accommodation at MMTTC Hostel, JNU, subject to the availability, and on the payment basis.
