Prof. Rajkumar Buyya, University of Melbourne, Australia RAJKUMAR BUYYA is Professor of Computer Science and Software Engineering; and Director of the Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems (CLOUDS) Laboratory at the University of Melbourne, Australia. He is also serving as the founding CEO of Manjrasoft, an Australian company developing innovative solutions for Cloud Computing. He has authored and published over 300 research papers and four text books. The books on emerging topics that Dr. Buyya edited include High Performance Cluster Computing (Prentice Hall, 1999) and Cloud Computing (Wiley, 2011). His book on "Mastering Cloud Computing" is a famous book on Cloud. He is one of the highly cited authors in computer science and software engineering worldwide. Dr. Buyya received the "2009 IEEE Medal for Excellence in Scalable Computing" for his pioneering work in utility-oriented distributed computing platforms. |

Prof. Jemal H. Abawajy, Deakin University, Australia JEMAL H. ABAWAJY is a full professor at Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment, Deakin University, Australia. He is a Senior Member of IEEE Society; IEEE Technical Committee on Scalable Computing (TCSC); IEEE Technical Committee on Dependable Computing and Fault Tolerance and IEEE Communication Society. Professor Abawajy is currently the Director of the Parallel and Distributing Computing Laboratory. Professor Abawajy has served on the editorial-board of numerous international journals and currently serving as associate editor of the IEEE Transaction on Cloud Computing, International Journal of Big Data Intelligence and International Journal of Parallel, Emergent and Distributed Systems. He has also guest edited many special issue journals. |

Prof. Debashsis Saha, Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta Debashis Saha is currently a Full Professor with the MIS Group, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta. Previously, he was with Computer Science & Engg. Dept. of Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He has co-supervised 14 doctoral theses and published about 280 research papers in various conferences and journals, and directed four funded projects on networking. He has coauthored several book chapters, a monograph and five books including Networking Infrastructure for Pervasive Computing: Enabling Technologies and Systems (Norwell, MA: Kluwer, 2002) and Location Management and Routing in Mobile Wireless Networks (Boston, MA: Artech House, 2003). He was the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Business Data Communications & Networking (IJBDCN) [2009-2013], had served on the editorial board of selected international journals, and is a regular reviewer of several international journals. Dr. Saha is the recipient of the prestigious Career Award for Young Teachers from AICTE, Government of India, and is a SERC Visiting Fellow with the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. He is a Fellow of West Bengal Academy of Science and Technology (WAST), Senior Life Member of Computer Society of India, Senior Member of IEEE, and member of AIS, member of the International Federation of Information Processing (IFIP) Working Groups 6.8 and 6.10. He was the co-Vice-Chair of IEEE Calcutta Section (2010-2011) and was the founder chair of Calcutta Chapter of IEEE Communications Society (2003-2008) which won the 'Best Chapter of the World' award in 2008. |

Geetha Manjunath, Data Analytics Research, Xerox Research Centre, India Geetha Manjunath heads the Data Analytics Research at the Xerox Research Centre India (XRCI) which creates innovative solutions in healthcare, transportation and customer care. Dr. Geetha has about 25 years of research expertise in IT industry and has proposed and lead multiple research projects in data analytics, crowd sourcing, cloud computing, semantic web, mobile and distributed computing. Her research in the above areas has resulted in innovative prototypes, patents, publications and new products. Her current research focus is on use of analytics for Breast Cancer Screening. Before joining Xerox in April 2013, she was a Principal Research Scientist and Research Manager at Hewlett Packard Labs India for 17 years and a team leader at C-DAC Bangalore. She is a gold medalist from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore from where she holds a Master's Degree and PhD from Computer Science and Automation Department. She was awarded the NASCCOM IT Innovator award in 2009 and was also the winner of the 2010 Grand Challenges for Technologists, posed by MIT Technology Review under Healthcare Category. She is the author of a book on Cloud technologies titled "Moving to the Cloud" published by Elsevier Syngress Publications in Dec 2011, which is used as an Engineering college text book. She is the Chair of the Big Data Working Group and Member of the Governing Board of the CCICI (Cloud Computing Innovation Council for India). She holds ten US patents with 30 more pending grant. |

Satish Narayana Srirama, Head of Mobile & Cloud Lab Institute of Computer Science University of Tartu, Estonia Satish Narayana Srirama is an associate professor and the head of the Mobile & Cloud Lab at the Institute of Computer Science, University of Tartu, Estonia. He received his PhD in computer science from RWTH Aachen University, Germany. His current research focuses on cloud computing, mobile web services, mobile cloud, Internet of Things, migrating scientific computing and enterprise applications to the cloud and large scale data analytics on the cloud. He is an Editor of Wiley Software: Practice and Experience, a 40+ year old Journal, an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions in Cloud Computing and a program committee member of several international conferences and workshops. Dr. Srirama has co-authored over 100 refereed scientific publications in international conferences and journals. He was adjudged the "Researcher of the year - 2011" by Institute of Computer Science, University of Tartu and also have won four best paper awards at different conferences. Dr. Srirama has successfully managed several national, international and enterprise collaborative research grants and projects. |

Karan Mitra, Assistant Professor at Luleå University of Technology, Sweden Karan Mitra is an Assistant Professor at Luleå University of Technology, Sweden. He received his Dual-badge Ph.D. from Monash University, Australia and Luleå University of Technology in 2013. He received his MIT (MT) and a PGradDipDigComm from Monash University in 2008 and 2006, respectively. He received his BIS (Hons.) from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, India in 2004. His research interests include quality of experience modelling and prediction, context-aware computing, cloud computing and mobile and pervasive computing systems.
